What kind of church are you looking for? I guess that’s what every pastor in America is asking. I think that there has been a moving toward building churches that appeal to the people. I understand why we would want to do that. But that may not be the best place to start. Perhaps our first obligation is to God. In essence, Jesus said in Matthew 16, “It’s my church and I will build it.” What kind of church does Jesus want to build in our community, today?
